Our Story
Kia Ora!
We are a small whānau business operating from our humble office space in South Brisbane, Australia. As a husband-and-wife team raising two kids while running our business, we are proud to share our meaningful Kaupapa (journey) with you.
After many years of hard work, we are thrilled to finally see our dream come to life through our brand, What Doin Cousin. Rooted in our proud Māori and Cook Islands heritage, we draw inspiration from our culture to connect with our community. Our clothing line features traditional Māori and Cook Islands art, creating a spiritual and indigenous connection. We also love experimenting with vibrant colors and original ethnic designs, making our kākaku (clothing) authentic and unique.
Our goal is simple: to empower our people to take pride in wearing their culture, spread positive vibes, and, most importantly, keep our beautiful language, Te Reo Māori, alive for our future tamariki (Children).
Thank you so much for your tautoko (support). We appreciate you!
With love,
Kaden Ratu-Daniels (Tainui) (Ngā Puhi)
